By Gabriel Francis. From the artist’s statement:
My main joy in photography is connecting to the people and world around me. I like riding the bus, talking to strangers and being outside in the midst of everything. My process usually involves walking or bussing around, drinking some beers and being curious. I take my camera with me everywhere, and I do my best to always keep my eyes, ears, hear and mind open.
By Corbin C, a collection of concert photography made with a disposable camera. From the introduction:
Corbin, Lithe, with a disarming smile, slinks in from the kitchen, navigates lake a hula hooper through the dancers, casually moves close to the harp player, and snaps a photograph…
Corbin’s instrument is a disposable film camera. The mass-produced kind, single-use, made of cardboard, popular before the convenience of digital.
