So, you want to show your work at Franklin Foto.
We are always excited to hear from artists who are interested in exhibiting with us. Before you submit, please take a moment to read through the information below. It will help you understand what we need from you, what you can expect from us, and the terms that apply to all exhibitions at Franklin Foto.
A few things to know before you fill out this form:
We strongly encourage you to stop by Franklin Foto in person before submitting so you can see the space and get a feel for how your work might fit here.
Receptions are typically held on the first Saturday of the month from 5–8 p.m. If you have a scheduling conflict, alternate dates may be considered based on availability.
Installations are conducted during our regular open hours (Wednesday–Sunday, 12–8 p.m.). Our space accommodates this comfortably and it has no impact on the quality of the installation process.
Exhibitions typically close on the last business day of the month. Artwork must be retrieved within two weeks of takedown. Please plan accordingly.
Submitting this form does not reserve or guarantee an exhibition date. Dates are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis upon completion of the full booking process.
Franklin Foto retains a commission on all items sold during your exhibition: 40% on print sales (after expenses by Franklin Foto) and 20% on books, zines, or other items.
You are also welcome to reach out to us at manager@franklinfoto.org or to set up a time to meet with Jason Kaplan (curator) or Sharmil Elliott Reclusado (co-director), who handle exhibition arrangements at Franklin Foto.
